Watsonville kitchen project aims to nourish entrepreneurs

WATSONVILLE -- A former tofu factory on Riverside Drive soon will host a kitchen capable of feeding the dreams of budding entrepreneurs.El Pajaro Community Development Corp. has leased with an option to buy the long vacant building for a venture aimed at supporting food-related startups.
During the next few months, the 8,000-square-foot facility will be converted to a shared-space commercial kitchen available for rent by caterers, bakers, mobile food vendors, cooks and farmers interested in expanding their markets with value-added products such as
