EPCDC Loan Program Director
El Pájaro Community Development Corporation seeks a Loan Program Director with a small business lending background and underwriting experience to lead our Lending Department. The purpose of this position is to provide the highest level of project management, fund development and administrative support to the Loan Program. This position performs a broad variety of tasks including, but not limited to, managing the loan process; providing technical assistance, and financial and business consultation and training to business applicants; board operations; preparing meeting agenda and packets; maintaining records; corresponding with donors; fund development, updating marketing materials; staffing committees/subcommittees and events; and acting as the point of contact for the fund. The Lending Director will be responsible for the leadership, development and implementation of Micro lending, Small Business Lending and Affinity Group Lending programs that aim to complement our existing technical assistance, incubation and market access initiatives to provide underserved businesses with the capital they need to succeed.
EPCDC Loan Officer
El Pajaro Community Development Corporation seeks a Loan Officer to support the growth of the loan program. The purpose of this position is to provide the highest level of client facing service to EPCDCs target market in an effort to connect entrepreneurs with the capital they need to succeed. This position reports to the Loan Program Director and performs a broad variety of tasks including, but not limited to, marketing, origination, technical assistance to borrowers, loan servicing and maintaining records. Underwriting experience is required; however the candidate will receive additional training on the job. The Loan Officer will be part of the team responsible for the growth of the Micro loan and small Business Loan portfolio, which consists of loans ranging from $5000-$50,000. This loan program aims to complement our existing technical assistance, incubation and market access initiatives. This position is idea for a candidate who wants to be involved with the launch of this exciting expansion of services.
